Y-54 (DMP-30) curing agent's main component is 2,4,6 - tris (dimethylaminomethyl)phenol, as a general-purpose Lewis base catalyst for epoxy resin system. It can be used as a curing agent directly in adhesives and as a catalyst for other curing agents, including amide amines, amine adducts and polyamides, and is widely used in industrial coatings, casting floor, concrete protection and adhesive field.
Y-54 (DMP-30) curing agent can also be used as a preferred catalyst for the weld joint agent, sealants and concrete adhesivesin liquid epoxy resin and liquid polysulfide system .
In addition, Y-54(DMP-30) curing agent is also the highly efficient catalyst for epoxy resin polycarboxylic acid and anhydride curing reaction (such as casting and laminating applications), and has a strong role in promoting isocyanate / polyol reaction and isocyanate trimer reaction ( Such as isocyanate foam applications).
